Position: Software Engineer — CAD/CAM
Hours: Full time
Location: Irvine, California

Job Description
Software Engineer is responsible for and is involved in the design, programming and development of VERICUT software.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong proficiency in Java, C, C++, and mechanical CAD/CAM programming
  • Experience with GUI and computer graphics
  • Solid understanding of 3D concepts
  • Strong math skills and background
  • Excellent problem-solving, software design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physics, Math or related field

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required:

  • CAD/CAM industry experience

 

Position: Software Engineer

Job Description

Job Description

Software Engineer is responsible for and is involved in the design, programming and development of VERICUT software, with particular emphasis on creating automated composite layup numerical control part programs and simulating the layup process on automated layup machines.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to visualize three dimensionally
  • Strong trigonometry
  • Proficiency in Java and C++
  • User interface design experience
  • Good problem-solving, software design, coding, and testing skills
  • Degree in Mathematics or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong desire to learn and work in emerging factory automation technology

 

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required:

  • Automated composites manufacturing knowledge
  • Aerospace engineering knowledge

 


Position: Technical Support Engineer
Hours: Full-time
Locations: USA (OH/MI, Southeast PA, WA, MO, CT/NH), India (Pune)

Job Description
Technical Support Engineer provides support and knowledge to internal departments and local end-user customers on VERICUT products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-user customers, sales engineers, and marketing partners
  • Instruct VERICUT training classes
  • Travel to and conduct on-site training and consulting at customer sites
  • Assist end-users in maximizing benefits and implementation of VERICUT software
  • Log and track software change requests

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Team-player
  • Willingness to travel
  • Practical working experience in NC programming
  • CAD/CAM experience and knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
  • Good communication skills

  • Recent experience with VERICUT
  • Practical working CAD/CAM experience with emphasis on CAM expertise in Creo, Edgecam, Esprit, Hypermill…

Position: Sales Engineer
Hours: Full-time
Locations: Brazil, India (Bangalore), USA (Southeast PA)

Job Description

The Sales Engineer pursues leads, qualifies prospects, and manages all aspects of the sales process for both new and existing customers. The Sales Engineer also works with, and establishes, business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and grow an existing account base focused on promoting company products and services
  • Develop strong customer relationships at all levels (plant engineers, research and technology experts, purchasing managers, and senior management)
  • Responsible for development and delivery of sales presentation and product demonstrations at customer locations
  • Prepare quotes and write customer implementation plans as appropriate
  • Perform post-sale customer follow-up
  • Maintain an accurate prospect and customer database
  • Attend and present the technology at trade shows and symposiums
  • Represent CGTech in a professional and knowledgeable manner

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Practical working experience in NC programming

Position: Composites Product Specialist
Hours: Full time
Location: US locations

 

Job Description

CGTech’s Product Marketing department is seeking a Vericut Composites Product Specialist. The Composites Product Specialist will be responsible for developing virtual machine configurations for part program simulation, automated equipment post processors to create numerical control part programs and supporting the software development team. The candidate will also work with end-user customers, and CGTech technical support and sales engineers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create, support, and enhance virtual machine and simulation models
  • Create and support post processors for composites automation equipment using high-level scripting language
  • Support sales and technical support engineers on product related questions
  • Work with software developers to specify product features
  • Assist in advanced customer support and recommendations
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to end-user customers, professional associations and internal sales and technical staff
  • Some travel is required

 

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering field or equivalent experience
  • Experience creating automated composite layup (aerospace components preferred)
  • Ability to create 3D surface and solid models with 3D mechanical CAD software (CATIA, Siemens NX, Solidworks preferred)
  • Basic familiarity with 3D composite laminate design methods
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Motivated self-starter

 

Additional Desired Experience

  • Virtual Machine simulation- Automated Composites manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Automated Composites Manufacturing- Automated Fiber Placement, Automated Tape Layup preferred
