FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Irvine, CA (2003) – CGTech and Cincinnati Machine have joined forces under CGTech’s Technology Partner program in an agreement to build virtual machine models for simulation using VERICUT® software.
Cincinnati Machine is a leading global manufacturer of advanced manufacturing products, technologies and services delivering productivity solutions to key manufacturing sectors. Its broad range of high performance products includes turning centers, vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, 5-axis machining centers, universal machining centers, profilers, routers and automated composite systems.
As the simulation tool for Cincinnati Machine, VERICUT provides Cincinnati Machine customers with a method to evaluate machine capabilities, reduce implementation time, and simulate the NC machining process in order to prevent collisions and protect their investment.
Jim Dallam, Technology Development Manager at Cincinnati Machine, says, ‘NC simulation is a proven technology that enables our customers to better utilize and safeguard their machine tool investments. Steady advancements in computing power continue to make increasingly complex, full-featured, simulation models more practical for a wider population of users. Collaborating with CGTech, at this time, is a logical move to enable our mutual customers to more readily acquire, and more quickly utilize, a new generation of virtual machine models that are more capable, with better detail and higher accuracy.”
Says Serge Viau, Partnership Manager at CGTech, ‘Partnering with Cincinnati Machine is an important aspect of our market strategy. Our goal is to reach high-end manufacturers and offer them a software solution designed to protect their investment. And by increasing our offering of virtual Cincinnati Machines, we better serve our mutual customers with a tool to optimize their machining processes.”
