Requires VERICUT Verification and a machine/control description. Base Verification verifies 3-axis milling and 2-axis turning (including multiple setup positions). Level 3: Simulate your entire CNC machine VERICUT shows material removal at the workpiece level, but can also simulate entire machine tools as they appear on a shop floor. Machine Simulation detects collisions and near-misses between all machine tool components such as axis slides, heads, turrets, rotary tables, spindles, tool changers, fixtures, work pieces, cutting tools, and other user-defined objects. Requires VERICUT Verification, the Machine Simulation module, and at least one Virtual Machine Configuration (VMC). Add Multi-Axis to detect collisions during positioning and to remove material during continuous four and five axis milling, drilling, turning, and combination mill/turn operations. Multi-axis verification and CNC simulation The Multi-Axis module is required to detect collisions between the tool, stock and fixture for rotary 4 & 5-axis positioning/indexing motion. It detects collisions during multi-axis positioning moves and while removing material during continuous four and five axis milling, drilling, turning, and combination mill/turn operations. Requires VERICUT Verification and the Multi-Axis module. Integrate with your CAM system The interfaces tightly integrate VERICUT and your CAM system(s) to help you create the most accurate and efficient NC programs possible. They make verifying and optimizing NC programs and simulating CNC machines a much easier and more efficient process. In most cases you can verify individual operations, a series of operations, or a set of complete NC programs. All stock, fixture, and design geometry is automatically transferred to VERICUT in the correct orientation, along with your NC program, tooling, machine and control data and other simulation parameters. Document your process Save time and improve accuracy by easily generating in-process inspection instructions, set-up plans, and other documentation from VERICUT’s simulated in-process machined features. Included with the base Verification product. Gouge/excess detection (verify your cut part matches the design intent) AUTO-DIFF™ enables you to compare a CAD design model to a VERICUT simulation and automatically detect differences. Using this module, anyone involved in the production process can identify incorrectly machined areas. AUTO-DIFF is also used to detect a possible weakness or mistake in the design. Requires the AUTO-DIFF module. Simulate and verify probe cycles Create probing sequences at any stage in the machining process. Reduce the potential for error by simulating probing operations and save money on probing equipment. Requires the Probing module. Improve cutting efficiency VERICUT is a true knowledge-based machining system. Through the simulation process, it learns the exact depth, width, and direction of each cut. And it knows exactly how much material is removed by each cut segment. With that knowledge, motion is divided into smaller segments and the best feed rate for each cutting condition encountered is assigned. It then outputs a new tool path, identical to the original but with improved feed rates. It does not alter the route of the tool path. Two independent modules are available for optimizing feed rates: OptiPath® and Force™. OptiPath uses standard machining formulas, setting the feed rate based on the user’s desired volume removal rate, chip thickness, and surface speed. Requires the OptiPath module. Force uses material properties associated with the workpiece and cutting tool material, plus cutting edge geometry and VERICUT’s simulated cutter contact conditions to predict cutting forces and chip load.
