VERICUT Verification (Three Day Course)
Day 1:
Basic NC Program Simulation and Verification
This course introduces users to the basics of NC program verification. Following an overview of the graphical user interface and functionality, you’ll learn how set up and run a project in VERICUT. Special emphasis will be placed on how to detect and locate errors in NC programs. This course will also show you how to analyze the cut part by using many of VERICUT’s built-in analysis features, including the ability to compare the cut stock to the design data.
Day two will expand on the first day to include working with advanced settings that fine-tune the simulation. We’ll cover configuring multiple setup projects, advanced modeling and assembly techniques, and defining tool shapes. You’ll also learn how to use coordinate systems, subroutines and work offsets. We’ll also cover defining and positioning the stock model, and orienting the models on the machine.
Day 3:
Advanced Configuration
This course builds on what you learned in days one and two to explore advanced uses of VERICUT. Topics include using VERICUT-to-CAD/CAM interfaces and how to customize reports for your specific requirements. The afternoon will focus on how to use VERICUT’s ready-made library of NC machines and controls to process G-code.
Manufacturing Process Optimisation (One Day Course)
On this course we’ll focus on maximizing the throughput of your entire manufacturing operation. You’ll use the OptiPath feed/speed optimisation module to achieve the ideal feed rates for every cutting condition. After a review of OptiPath’s settings and controls, you’ll learn the best method for each type of machining and will discover strategies for achieving optimal performance and precision from your CNC machine Tools. You’ll also learn how to use VERICUT’s built-in inspection report tools for an in-process part. The course will conclude with an overview of probe programming and simulation.
VERICUT Workshop (One Day Course)
This course offers existing users the chance to work through specific problems or examples with our product experts. This is an informal day and provides an opportunity for users to learn more about the latest product improvements and see how they apply to them.
Machine and Control Building (Four Day Course)
This course is intended for experienced VERICUT users. It is assumed that attendees already have a good working knowledge of VERICUT’s user interface and basic verification techniques. The class builds on your existing foundation of knowledge to advise on proper techniques for configuring VERICUT machines, controls, and master project files to be used by all users at your company.
