| Our strategic relationship with PTC continues
For the past several years PTC and CGTech have provided you with a PTC-licensed version of VERICUT, the best CNC machine simulation, part verification and NC program optimization software available. PTC and CGTech are continuing our strategic alliance and PTC continues to provide VERICUT as a basic NC tool path verification tool. However, we have recently implemented changes to better insure customers’ ongoing success with VERICUT’most specifically the licensed options: NC Verification, NC Optimization and NC Machine Simulation. Commencing immediately, you may contact CGTech for support of the licensed PTC-VERICUT software options (NC Verification, NC Optimization, NC Machine Simulation). Our goal is to give you access to the best available VERICUT support from the developers of the VERICUT software. Upgrade to the full commercial version of VERICUT
The PTC-licensed and distributed VERICUT software may be upgraded to CGTech’s standard commercial VERICUT product, with equivalent VERICUT optional modules to match the PTC-licensed VERICUT’s features. The upgrade is necessary in order to continue receiving future VERICUT version updates. The VERICUT software and user interface remain the same, so no additional training is required, and the software works identically with the existing Pro/E interface to VERICUT. Upon requesting an upgrade:
1. We will ship you a CD with the most recent version of the VERICUT software
2. We will e-mail you a CGTech issued license
3. Once you receive the CD and license, install VERICUT per the instructions provided You will enjoy more features and benefits immediately
The upgrade to standard CGTech VERICUT provides you with access to the current version of VERICUT and is the only way to continue receiving future releases. With this upgrade more VERICUT product features will be available to you immediately, as well as access to a wider selection of upgrade options and configuration flexibility. VERICUT 6.0 includes many new features, such as the ability to configure mouse/keyboard view actions to be more like Pro/E. Click here to read more about the latest version of VERICUT
CGTech is committed to customer support and our software maintenance is consistent with your current PTC support agreement. CGTech technical support is available to each VERICUT customer to ensure a smooth transition to the VERICUT upgrade. Additional training and services are also available. When you request an upgrade from the PTC license of VERICUT to the CGTech license of VERICUT, it does not apply to the VERICUT software automatically included with Pro/E NC programming products. The upgrade will update the version of the embedded VERICUT to the current version, but access to that feature is not affected by this upgrade request. We look forward to working with you
