FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CGTech will demonstrate the new version of VERICUT® CNC machine simulation and optimisation software at the Advanced Engineering 2015 group of events, which include the Aero Engineering and Composites Engineering shows, on the 4th -15th November, 2015, stand C8.
VERICUT CNC simulation software is used world-wide to simulate of all types of CNC machines including leading brands such as Makino, Starrag, Heller, Matsuura, DMG MORI and Mazak. VERICUT runs standalone, but can also be integrated with leading CAD/CAM/PLM systems including Dassault Systemes CATIA, Siemens PLM NX CAM, Delcam PowerMill, Vero EdgeCAM, Open Mind hyperMILL, DP Esprit and Missler TopSolidCAM.
In addition to new features designed to make NC programmers’ jobs easier, nearly 500 customer-driven enhancements and software change requests have been completed in version 7.4. These updates utilise the latest technologies to enable faster processing speeds, longer tool life and increased part quality. Added features to the user interface simplify the most common user actions and significant developer hours have been invested to increase simulation speed by more thoroughly taking advantage of multiple processors and background processing.
Visitors to CGTech’s stand will see many of the new features and enhancements including a redesigned user interface, status window, and tool manager. The free collaboration application, VERICUT Reviewer has been enhanced with a new Manual data input (MDI) option, and is also available on the Apple iPAD.
CGTech will be demonstrating its Composites Applications software for programming and simulation of Automated Fibre Placement (AFP) and Automated Tape Laying (ATL). On display will be examples of programming and simulation of AFP machines from leading manufacturers including mTorres and Electroimpact and also, robot applications.
Headquartered in Irvine, California CGTech specialises in numerical control (NC/CNC) simulation, verification, optimisation and analysis software technology for manufacturing. Since 1988 CGTech’s product, VERICUT® software, has become the industry standard for simulating CNC machining in order to detect errors, potential collisions or areas of inefficiency. CGTech has an extensive network of offices and resellers throughout the world.
